The Crucified One

No joke: he was definitely crucified.

For the first time in at least a year or more, I will sit down tonight, with a friend, to experience his Ninth Symphony — three candles burning in an otherwise darkened space and fully absorbed in the vastness of his self-sacrifice for humanity. That piece of music, more than any work of so-called “art“ or philosophy, resurrected me from the moldering death of mere intellect into the infinite deliverance of silence.

Into Zen.
