On Diogenes and Me

Many many thanks to the eminent theologian Addison Hodges Hart for recalling this teaching point I’ve made over the years. It’s so great to see today for the first time its alignment with that mad-dog Diogenes. (And also the alignment with that guy who said the same thing with his “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword,” however much his followers — both barbaric Putinite and arrogant American — have completely and brutally hijacked the outer-meaning of his tricky words, and missed entirely their infinite possibilities for deep inner-transformation, turning them into dumb-ass nationalism, and wretched blood and profit instead.)
