This is a recording of one of the most prominent chanting monks in Korea of the last 20 years, Yong In Sunim. Notice the traditional use of the moktak – – which doesn’t cover every beat, but fills in markers during breath. A great record for those of you who wonder how it is being done in its traditional home, with trained chanters.
