It was so startling and disturbing to witness that Tom Cruide deepfake that was unleashed on the world several days ago. The next day, there was already a deepfake of Gustav Mahler, taken from the famed photos taken of him by Moritz Nähr in the lobby of the Wiener Hofoper in 1907; and the next day, a deepfake of even Ralph Waldo Emerson!
Of course, if this radically reality-altering technology has permeated the goods of the 20th- and 19th-centuries, it has surely been tested already on our figures previously frozen unmoving in stone.
Reality will never — ever! — be the same again.
And here's Pericles. He seems to be struggling a bit, probably some aftereffects from the plague…
