An article from 2 years ago in The New York Times posits that the entire tradition of Santa Claud, flying reindeer, coming down the chimney, a cookie and milk, and the bringing of gifts by a stranger from the North Pole are all the product of psychedelic mushroom culture. This is so compelling. Intuitively, it makes lots of sense.
Give yourself the 7 minutes that this mini-documentary asks of you. You’ll see Santa in a whole new light.

I have recently read The Eleusinian Mysteries, and will soon crack open The Immortality Key. All of these texts — and this article — flesh out my own personal experiences with psychedelics. Absolutely supreme experiences which have revolutionised my life. One could say that, due if even just to my first experience of LSD, with John down on the campus of Princeton in about 1985, I am a serious practitioner/teacher of meditation today.
